"We're travelers too!"
Srisuda and Andrew (a.k.a. Fa and Mac) first pedaled their tandem bicycle through Prachuap Khiri Khan ten years ago, on their tour of Southeast Asia. They fell in love with the quaint fishing town and its three bays. After many more adventures elsewhere, they returned in 2014, purchased a piece of coconut land and began the construction of Baan Aomjai.
They hope to create a welcoming and creative place where guests can enjoy all the fantastic offerings--food, sports, beaches, sights--that this sun-drenched province has to offer. Warmth and hospitality are the fabric of Baan Aomjai.
Srisuda is Baan Aomjai's manager and kitchen chief. She is a badminton fanatic and a professional papaya salad maker. She is also the resident tour guide to local Buddhist temples, Burmese market and elephant safari.
Andrew is a writer and resident hammock tester. Occasionally, he serves as a bicycle tour guide, handyman, BBQ pit-master and pizza-wrangler. He is always looking for tennis partners and frisbee players.
Srisuda and Andrew are serious foodies who love to host BBQ potlucks, pizza parties, and recipes-exchange cookouts. They co-authored and crowd-published A Culinary Odyssey: A Cookbook Diary of Travels, Flavors and Memories of Southeast Asia.
