Bicycling in all its varied forms--racing, touring, cruising, puttering, sightseeing, commuting--is very popular in Prachuap, mostly because the landscape, with exception of the low mountains along the Burma border, is quite flat and the roads fairly good with little traffic. There are half a dozen bicycle routes (30-80 km) around Prachuap, enough to keep visitors a solid week of riding. The town has four large bicycle shops and numerous bike rental shops. Baan Aomjai can arrange supported day tours (20-140km) for our riding guests. We also have special programs/discounts for long distance bicycle tourists because we are also, from time to time, touring cyclists.
